Cleaning Fees

  • An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the space is left excessively dirty, trashed, or in a condition that requires cleaning beyond normal expectations (e.g., spills, stains, excessive garbage, or rearranged/misused furniture or props).

  • If the condition of the space requires the use of a professional cleaning service, the full cost of hiring a cleaning company will be added to your final invoice and is your responsibility to pay.

Overtime

  • If you or your team stay beyond your scheduled booking time, you will be charged an overtime fee of 1.5x the hourly rate for each additional hour (or portion thereof).

    • While we will do our best to accommodate additional time if requested in advance, this is not always guaranteed, and overtime charges will apply if you remain in the space past your reserved time.

Damage, Theft & Property Loss

  • You (the guest) are fully responsible for leaving the space in the same condition in which you found it.

  • You are financially liable for any damage, theft, or loss as a result of your booking, whether caused by you, your team, or any attendees.

  • If any damage or theft occurs:

    • You will be required to reimburse JAR Studios for the full cost of repair or replacement, including labor and materials.

    • In cases of significant damage or theft, you may also be held liable for business interruption losses if the studio cannot operate as a result of your actions.

  • The following are examples of incidents for which you will be held fully liable:

    • Structural or cosmetic damage to walls, floors, fixtures, furniture, equipment, or décor.

    • Theft of studio property or equipment.

    • Willful destruction, gross negligence, or misuse of the space.

    • Excessive cleaning required due to spills, stains, or improper use of the space.

  • JAR Studios is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal property you or your attendees bring into the space. We recommend securing your own insurance to cover any valuable equipment or belongings.

Personal Liability

  • JAR Studios is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property of the guest or any attendees.

  • You assume all liability for personal belongings brought into the space and agree to indemnify and hold harmless JAR Studios from any claims or damages arising from their loss.

Agreement to Terms

By booking our space, you agree to abide by all of the terms above and acknowledge that you have read and understand our policies regarding cancellations, refunds, damage, theft, and liability.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Our cancellation policy is based on the tier selected at the time of booking. Refund amounts vary depending on how far in advance you cancel:

    • Very Flexible: Full refund up to 24 hours before your booking start time.

    • Flexible: Full refund up to 7 days before your booking start time.

    • Standard 30-Day: Full refund up to 30 days before your booking start time.

    • Standard 90-Day: Full refund up to 90 days before your booking start time.

  • Partial refunds (50% of booking amount, fees excluded) are available during the partial refund window outlined above.

  • No refunds are provided for cancellations made after the final non-refundable window begins.

  • All cancellations must be processed through our website to be valid.
